Born in Windsor, Canada, Lester B. grew up in the Hotbed of music coming over the Airways from Detroit. Rock and Roll, Country, Jazz, Soul, R&B, Funk, Pop, Soft, Punk and everything in between.
From a very young age, Music has played a Major role in Les's life. Shy at First, (he used to Sing to his Mother behind a closed door) he soon began to be blossom due to much encouragement from everyone around him. That included his older Brother, who, only a couple years after, turned Les on to much of the Rock & Roll Music scene at the time. Les has never looked back!
At the age of 10, Les was a member of the first ever Junior (All Boys) Choir Competition in Canada (Ontario), coming home in a tie for First Place. A few years later and way under aged, Les would sneak into Bars just to hear the different kinds of Music being played, eventually Playing in many himself in the Years to follow.
Les' First Rock Band was the Popular and Locally acclaimed Cover Band "Sweet Evil". This led to progressively more talented Musicians and better Bands as Les gained Notoriety for his Versatile Vocals. Les’s developed a Hard-Edged Southern Outlaw Image, which ultimately led to becoming the Founder/Frontman for "Southern Legends Live!"
Recently, after much ribbing and prodding by many his Professional peers, Les has decided to tap into his many Musical influences and create his own Music. Songs that tell a story, delivered with “Deep, Powerful Vocals” and the Passionate “Edge” he is know for.
Lester B.’s Vocal talents are evident, in the Highly Anticipated release of his first Solo CD… "Blindsided!"
An Eclectic mix of 12 Songs that blurs the lines of Genres… From the Southern Rock flavoured “Blindsided” and “Tear Me Down” to the Catchy, Toe-tapping Country rocker “She’s the One” to the Hard hitting Socially Conscious “Can’t Stop This!”, all the way over to the Melodic and Memorable Rock Ballads of “Walk Away” and “Wings”, the Variance of this CD appears to have No Boundaries!
When you Top all those off with Songs like “She’s Mine Now Sucka!” along with “Save Me” and “Dance like you Need the Money” Plus, a Couple of killer Cover songs in the form of “Somebody to Love” (Jefferson Airplane) and “Love is the Drug” (Roxy Music) this CD is Sure to be near the Top of your Collection for a Long Time!
