It all started at the end of the year 2009 right after brothers Jody and James' short, but great lived legacy with the ' Chimneys' had sadly diminished leaving behind a great following of much loved fans and an excellent 5 years of being at the top of the local music scene along with a big gaping black hole to fill. It was only after a brief spell of recordings with the one an only Chris Forshaw that the brothers had realised they had found their man whom himself had left behind a legacy with a well known Runcorn band ' The Indecisives'. It was then decided that the lads would form an alliance for the year 2010, but their was still one vital ingredient missing. It was only through Chris that the other 2 band members would eventually meet the young and talented Robert Rolt who would not only become the best drummer to work with, but a man with a range of tricks and many styles up his sleeves, and who also has a history having previously worked with many known artists at the top of the local music scene. These 4 great allies would form the one and only band and super group 'The Pearlers'. The Pearlers are not your average posing 1 tunnel vision band, but all do respect! They are a band with great and much loved following and a band with many different styles, genres and rhythms with an experimental twist which include blues, rock n roll, alternative rock, with at times a hint of freestyle/bebop jazz, and reggae/ska and even a nice slice of punk to suit the needs of you head bangers out there. With their many talents and much musical knowledge and experience behind them they have an ability to adapt and metamorphose to any high standard within the music industry, and will strive at the top level for whatever it costs and takes for them to do so. The Pearlers are a gifted band from a working class background who listen to the people and voice for the people with their cool peace out approach and attitude to the fans who they love most. The band members are self home grown musicians from the gutter ends of council estate quarters who are very passionate about their music and fans and are always up for one of their great live sets at anytime to please the people.
