Other than a few fleeting performances at some of the UK’s biggest Mela’s, this boy band/dance team have shunned the limelight as they try and establish their live act in secret. Their debut song in 2003, on the Kaizad Gustad/Ayesha Shroff film soundtrack ‘Boom’ saw them teaming up with dance outfit Groove Armada and Gram’m A Funk on ‘I See You Baby’ and since then they have remained undercover. The track itself can still be heard on trailers across the Zee TV network.
Born and raised in the West Midlands, 1TD are accomplished dancers, part-actors, now music stars. Since their inception in 1992, they started on the stage and have travelled all over the UK and to Europe and North America under the guise ‘The Heera Dancers’. The founding and development of the Heera Dancers is closely associated with the progression of the freestyle Bhangra dance consciousness of British Asians in the United Kingdom and North America. The Heera Dancers emerged from a tradition of Indian music and dance activities born in the state of Punjab in North India, through to their influences growing up in the UK. Now, as the reincarnation of one of the UK’s most famous freestyle Bhangra dance teams, 1TD aim to establish themselves fully on the world scene with their unique blend of entertainment.
If you take talent, and combine it with desire, discipline and determination, well, now you’re going to get somewhere! 1TD have proved that talent always rises to the top.

1TD’s have performed throughout the UK, France, Belgium and India in recent times with some of their most memorable performances being in Dubai alongside Bally Sagoo in 1999, Millennium night 2000 alongside Malkit Singh in Washington DC and performing to over 12,000 spectators at a Football League game in 2001. The boys have also featured in a Bollywood film staring heroine Madhuri Dixit and Akshay Kumar called 'Arzoo' - filmed in Scotland.
The boys have also performed alongside and in front of a number of celebrity names such as Cherie Blair, the UK’s Prime Minister's wife, and a host of Bollywood stars like Mahima Chaudhry, Karisma Kapoor and Akshay Kumar. In 2000 they performed at the Toronto Bhangra dance festival where they where outright winners in the Bhangra Dance category.
1TD, who have shown their artistic talents as actors and performers at big events already, are currently training a number of youngsters to follow in their footsteps with their own youth academy, whilst continuing their live performances across the UK and selected cities around the world. 2006 will finally bring to fruition the ultimate live experience of dance, music and voice. Are you ready for 1TD
