Ya wanna rock?  Crank this puppy up!  Dawn rewrote the lyrics on a recent posting of mine, and just did an incredible job creating another persona for me to act out in.  Mike once more provides the scorch, blazing away on that axe of his, and he  tried out some new tricks on the mixing board that really turned this piece around.  Here's "Lepers" for your listening pleasure, all comments appreciated.

Check below to see Dawn's account of where these lyrics came from!

"Bit into the lyrics", huh?  Mus' be the new dentures.  If you listen really, really close you can hear them clack now and then....

I told myself I wasn't gonna, but here goes - What did the prostitute say to the leper as he was leaving?  Thanks for the tip!

And can anyone tell me what Dylan was goin' on about with that "Leper Skin Pillbox Hat" song of his?

Hi David....been there and left C's and R....

since u asked me to explain where the lyrics came from:

looking at a tattoed pierced guy/girl, some people might be forgiven for making assumptions about them but I know through experience that what's on the outside usually bears little resemblance to what's on the inside....if they are filled with rage, it is more likely because people treat them like lepers than it is the reason for their body decorations.

I wish people would learn to see inside more...that's all.

Much enjoyed working with u again darlin'...you've dopne a superb job of this one!

Mike...you are amazing my friend...hugggz

Glad he's posted the lyrics now, they weren't there when I first listened, like the song even more now lol. Lyrics definitely struck a chord with me (as I have loads of tattoos lol) and peoples first impressions of me are invariably wrong lol, so extra points for that from me. David's pretty great at handling difficult subject matters in his songs, but with a light touch, so well done to both of you :)

Richard, just had a quick peek at your latest and will be by this afternoon to check that out, thanks for giving this a spin.  Mike, Dawn, I'm very pleased with how this turned out and hope we have a few more of these to come.  So ya got a few tats, Allan?  Never had the guts myself, but I did get an ear pierced for a few days way back in the seventies, don't even recall which one now.  Glad you enjoyed this, thanks for keeping up with all it's changes and watch for a note this afternoon, I've an idea I want to run by you.

Thanks James - I learned so much when mixing this, such has having a refernce tone to begin with to calibrate the levels and also sending the sounds to other channels so that I could play with the panning to a greater level - bought a book called, 'mixing' funny title I know but it's very informative.

Thanks from me, too, James!  Glad you stopped by and gave this another listen.  Huge improvement, I'm still listening to it a half dozen times or more a day.

Thanks for sharing the details on the mix, Mike, I knew you could explain it far better than I could!
