Twisted tale from our debut EP, with a smorgasboard of style and riffs to keep your attention. Enjoy it, you sicko.

Martin and Ian started thinking about creating some heavy music at their workplace during lunch breaks, and in March 2003, they managed to get Paul involved. Some rehearsals were arranged; things were sounding promising, and a recording session was even arranged for September 2003.

The only thing left to do was to find a vocalist up to the task. This wasn't accomplished until mid-August, when they spotted an web advert, and invited Jay to audition for the job.

The audition was a success for all concerned. Finally, SESSION9 was playing with a full deck. (Even if the individual members are not!)

Once the line-up was complete, the band had only one full rehearsal/songwriting session before the studio beckoned.

They soon found themselves thrown into the process of recording the 23 minutes and 4 songs of their debut self-titled EP; it was completed over the course of 3 hectic days, and is due for release in 2004.

Since the recording of the EP, the guys have been swapping ideas for new material to go on the next EP, for which rehearsals start very soon.

Keep checking here, and on our official site, for more accurate CD release dates, and information on live dates (yes, we are planning to destroy some PAs in the name of ROCK, so be prepared - bring your own concrete bunker!)
