"stonedog" is a project of Jon Davies a singer / songwriter from the UK currently living in the Netherlands. Stonedog were first formed back in 1995 with the members Jon Davies - Guitars/Vocals, Adam Gee - Bass and Steve Piggott - Drums. The omens were not great as Adam's appendix burst during the third track of their first gig at Greenbelt Festival (he did complete the gig before being taken away in an ambulance though - how rock and roll). The band, like Adam's internal organ, split not long after, but in April 2005, Jon started to re-write and record some of the old songs and a heap of new material as a solo project. So far he has recorded about 40 tracks, a sample of which you can hear on this page.
