SKULLCAP has been tearing up the clubs with their own brand of hardcore/power-groove metal since the spring of 2001. In the summer of 2002, the band headed into the studio to record their 5 song debut EP “A Night Of Hate”. Over the next several months, their reputation for being one of the heaviest bands in the state soon began to take shape. With a growing legion of fans (christened “Skullcappers” by the band) asking when a full CD would be released, the band went back into the studio. A few months later they emerged with was was to become their first full length recording entitled “Hatred Runs Deep”. The band began hitting the scene again, but before the CD could be printed and released, the drummer unexpectedly quit. Not wanting to release a product while in this situation, the project was shelved. The band took some time off and now are actively searching for another drummer and working on songs for their next release entitled “Rebirth”.
