Originating in Stamford, CT West Side neighborhood as a click and now spreading out all over, Darkcyde Entertainment LLC. is a label ran by "Conn Ave's King" Matthew "Stead One" Steadman. Stead One was an artist on Shelbywu Records that lyrical abilities stood out like a sore thumb. After breaking tides with Shelbywu in early 2005, Stead One explored other states for a bigger buzz. From doing a show in Dartmuth, Mass. to winning a talent show in Tuscaloosa, AL. Towards the end of 2005 Stead picked up a roster that is about as lyrically inclined as their general. In 2006 Darkcyde is officially off the ground with a team after the green. We have joint venture deals with other record labels so everyone we do business with is making money. We are doing big things. |
