Beautiful Creatures
Hi Portia, a nice emotive pice of music - small suggestion to watch the levels at 0:54. Overall interesting as the first movement dramatic-enigmatic and at a slow pace middle movement brighter but fleeting. The end is more like a question even though only 2.5 minutes covers a lot of ground - It reminded me more of watching the changes on the shore as the tide ebbs and flows and creatures that emerge and retreat, - I suppose because I left it on repeat and let it cycle a few times - very pleasant listen - I'd love to know what it was you were thinking of and why the creatures had to be beautiful? Gosh feels like I just did a TAT test on this - well done - jon
This is very delicate! A waterfall effect. Very professional sound! Perfect for any soundtrack! Got my vote here! -Rex
The scenic route - great title for this vignette. I pictured a car drive along a tree lined country road with glimpses out the window of the blurred landscape rushing past...allowing the viewers/listeners to imagine the emotions inside the main character. There was a sense of going to somewhere that perhaps was more a running away than an arriving at. A haunting, lonely journey. Thanks for the moody brooding that a piano solo seems to bring out above most other instruments. Gently stroked keys paint masterpieces of emotional reticence. Keys played with determination lead to a resolve of action, but to what end for the character(s) in this narrative? You keep the mystery well :) Thanks for sharing your creative efforts! I, too, enjoyed the road less traveled.
just an exquisite piece of piano playing portia...muz
