Da Mancini Code - ala guitar
Spent the better part of my first night w/the Jem jamming to your stuff. Had a blast!
pretty phat improv, unfolds with the tune as it progresses. wicked psytrance feel, Its all about the fusion! love the spacey break about 3 mins in.
What an effective and sometimes crazy mix of styles on your page!!From harmony guitar parts to hip hop to industrial dance!! (cheers for your comments on my page - much appreciated)
Yes sir, Take a rate This is one intense track , Great Job! Vin
Really cool man. I like the blend of all the styles. rock on!
oh the mancini track, didnt know there was a remix, like the guitar added, mad blend:)guitar sound very good now,its an assult on the sense's,so much going on,that break with the guitar like a chainsaw like that loads, like the original and this adds another good element to it,nice collab
Bangin rokin tune dude . a cool mix of rock and techno . gutair is a nutter :O) cool playing man i likes it a lot . the drums and percussion are dope . production also good . massive thumbz up :)
Great title for song btw! You are a fantastic player. One of the best on this site for sure. this one makes me believe you can blend pure rock with electronica and have it work. It flows effortlessly. Great sound and production too. Ez rate eric
The guitar is all over the place and yet perfectly together with all the other sounds. Really, really original. R
Gday Rich, well being late on the scene, it's all been said. Some brilliant playing to create this piece of "ROCKTRONICA".Hey is that a first??rocktronica???? Well done mate and a rate.
Heard this a few times now and the guitar works surprisingly well, certainly compliments what was already a great track, the guitar parts are nicely placed and very well played, it all works well for me, I think maybe it's a tad long, maybe an edited version would have suited better, but good stuff all the same guy's :)
This is cool!! The guitar really suits this tune. Fair play to you, you'd never know it was just improvised. There's a very nice tone throughout the whole track as well.
A very challenging piece for the guitar, but you pulled it off Brother Rich. Your skills, accuracy, speed and tone ROCK bro. All buttons pushed that I can, as my VIP has lapped and kinda strapped at the moment.
Love the guitar playing and the sound for the guitar parts - feel the guitars could be a bit more in the mix, as it can sound a little overcrowded at times as Jon states. Things like this are fixeable! Nice idea to mix electro with guitars though, & there is some parts that build & are very atmospheric! Overall playing is very brill to my ears! & I rate on that! Sonya Stewart.
Blimey, now that was ambitious taking on this track... Gotta say you've done a really admirable job too; timing has to be pretty precise as Ricky rhythms are so intricate and he normally fills the musical "space" fairly completely. Possibly the guitar is a little high in the mix in places and it gets a little crowded, but its pretty usual when you try to add an extra line to a completed track that some redoing of the original levels is required to take account of it. Astonishing technical ability shown here, and congrats for taking it on, as it works a lot more than it doesn't if you get what I mean, which I wouldn't have thought possible! Cool...
Take a rate dude. Rated original so have to rate this version.
good stuff man! just jammin on that guitar, sounds sweet! made this track even more unique than it originally was, great job! mark
sounds great! i like guitars and electronics mixed. cool track. dave / absorption
That's pretty catchy. I always enjoy electro / techno beats with guitars. Great skill!
Hey, I'm liking the technoish kinda thing in the beginning. I like it! Then the guitar comes in. It came in a little odd but no probs! It sounds good with the pummeling perc sound in the background. The wind effects are a nice touch to detail and the guitar gets more complicated. Nice. I really like the techno aspects being mixed in. Then we get a little harder with the sound to change things up again. The melody keeps changing in the guitar. Lots of alteration. That's good. I got some pickin's, though... The guitar kind of overrides the beat and other sounds. I don't know if you were going for that effect. If so, nevermind me! lol I can tell this track is all about the guitar! Good break in the song to showcase that guitar sound. It's a wailing sound. The bass line sounds cool in the background and I do like the bit of vox. Lots of detail in this! Very good experiment! All in all it was a very cool song! A guitar added onto a Ricky song. Very cool. I like it! Rated!
Love the hard action on this and those pinch harmonics are sweet. I'm impressed how well this is mixed in as well. It sounds like part of the original.
I love how the guitar?sounds like a motorcycle?at one point..this has a wonderful high energy drift...this a short film score...really nicely done!:)
awesome work you do always, lets make a concert, you Dan Superhuman and me. my rate for you always.
it let me rate again kool
mind blowing indeed ... if i could rate again i would .. guitar sounds evil.. nice 1 lads
agree with craig entirely, this is pretty clever, not easy to make guitars sound atonal, some parts dont quite hit the mark but most of it sounds cool, a bit lower in the mix and this is a worthy contender.
This works really well actually. Instead of soloing over the top of the track you've managed to make the guitar sound like an integral part of the music. The mix is pretty well done too, the guitar may be slightly loud but still sits well in the mix and doesn't sound 'bolted-on' if you know what I mean. Enjoyed it. Rated. Craig
Amazing!
Nice work! Liked Ricky's original, love this amped up version! Guitar blends far better than I would have thought with his synth, this is some truly visionary stuff! Rated and then some...
trying to hone the fine art of songwriting...
If Rich has done this track from scratch, composing all of the intricacies of each part, I am completely floored. If he only did the guitar parts, I am 99% floored. I have to think that he is solely responsible for the entirety of this masterpiece as it has his unmistakable signature style written all over it. This, like many of Rich's pieces, brings to mind, immediately, the intelligence of the
I've enjoyed Rich "Iodine" Ramsey a great deal since the first time I heard his stuff. I, for lack of good reason, have just burned him to CD for the first time. So, so many nuances shine through on a quality sound system that are missed by listening through my decent computer's sound system. I have an entire new respect for his cutting-edge composition, production and performance skills. His orig
Like Batman, I love it when a plan comes together. Take, for instance, my first run in with Canadian rock gods iOD!NE (and that's positively the last time I am going to write it like that!) when I was blown away by Meander (December 2007) and laid a Must Have at their feet. The reason (well the main one anyway) is that I am an insatiable rock junkie and I need my regular fix - this ban
When I saw that Richard (iOD!NE) answered my post looking for guitar instrumentals to review I immediately went straight to his track. Sorry for jumping the queue but since I first heard iOD!INE I dug the progressive vibes and far out progressive guitar skills. And needless to say, this track shines as expected. The track starts out with some railway sounds, setting the atmosphere
It never ceases to amaze me the contortions some people go through to make up a bandname. I got the name right in the title but I'll be jiggered if I'm gonna do it all the way through this review. iOD!NE (OK, so I lied) is a new name to me from MP3 Unsigned and that's probably more my fault than his/hers theirs... Looks like a band too, although there is a distinct lack of information
good music and great arregment.
