Track Comments MUSIC-Oxygenial,ARRANGED/WORDS/VOCALS-Raquela ...OK, OK, so everyone has their own interpretation of what the rudiments (beginnings) of American Disco Music was. Well, I've lived it and did my homework as well. Here is my interpretation! Love it or leave it. This is the theme song of, '...Confessions of the Disco Diva' -Copyright 2001-2003 (ASCAP) R. As the vocalist…
"...Gave me chills!" -Entertainment News
"Explodes in a rock climax, bringing the audience to it’s feet!" –Buffalo News
"...An awakening!" –Jornal Da Tarde (Brazil)
"A great voice…that makes you fall in love with her almost immediately." –Cabaret Hotline
As the Performer…
"Theatrical dynamo of an actress." -Orange County Times
"...Powerful!" -The News Chief
"Sings, dances and blazes across any stage with energy and plenty of Broadway pizzaz…her vast theatrical experience is evident through out her mesmerizing performance." –Times & Tribune
As the Electronic writer...
"...WHAT AN INCREDIBLY OUTRAGES IDEA! Like an electronic play or electronic theatre? This just might be the thing that could breathe life back into Disco/Electronic!"
-NoWhereRadio.com
Welcome to Electronic in a Theatrical form! Disco is dead? Introducing Raquela and her alter ego, ‘Diva’, in a new type of innovative club performance… The 'DIVA', returns to her old disco desperate to take a hit off her former fame. But as a forgotten relic, she must find the courage to change… -Raquela’s groundbreaking ideas are only destined to "retro-lutionize" dance music into the millennium. An enduring disco junky, her music echoes sounds of the polyester era. She teams up with a variety of electronic artists from Europe to the U.S. as their lyricist, arranger and vocalist. She has been compared to Groove Coverage, Aqua and Felix Da House Cat but those held responsible for influencing this "uncontrollable eccentric" would lie in the hands of Donna Summer, Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, Styx, Rush, ELO, Madonna, Pink Floyd, New Order and Earth Wind and Fire.
Her high-energy music abounds with erotic innuendo, tragedy and humor making her story a must see!

I'M TOTALLY OPEN TO RE-MIXES!!!
If this is one way I can help get a band name out there, then please, allow me the honor!
EMAIL ME YOUR REQUESTS AND I'LL SEND YOU MY RAW VOCAL TRACKS!
Also... Are you an ELECTRONIC PRODUCER looking for a strong, high energy female vocalist (lyricist)? This DIVA wants you bad! Here's how I work...
Email me your Mp3 (@ 192kbps or more) to [email protected] …then... Patience love, patience… If the song inspires her enough to go into a frenzy, she will email you back ASAP and let you know no matter what. She comes up with a theme that fits your melody (key word, MELODY!) and begins to write catchy/sticky lyrics, turning your piece into somewhat of a pop tune, however, that is done on purpose. After she emails her MP3’ed “RAW Vocals” back to you, it is up to you, the master producer, to cut, trim and mix all the vocals you want to keep, hopefully turning your Dance piece into a master-piece of a collaboration!!!
Here’s what she asks of you in return… the usual really… to have permission to own half the song’s international rights, to be promoted at your site, get her name mentioned wherever you play it at and ask other DJ’s to know how to pronounce and spell her name correctly when ever they play it, Raw-KEH-Lah. SHE WOULD DO THE SAME IN RETURN!!! It’s all about getting our name out, becoming a well known, household name in “the scene”.
Let’s do it! Let’s go!
Life is too short!!!
