Leaving The Lights
Cool upbeat track...summer house, what's not to like? ;)
Nice ! I'd like to hear the wub a bit more, its just there in the back of the mix, bring that up so its peak is same as the synth :) I'm also missing a splash (hats) plus about 20seconds of nothing on the end. I take it this is a radio edit? Its a very cool track with the right tweaks it be an awesome track :) Peace,Ricky
Hi Chris, this feels joyful and musical. I would have liked to hear more mix up in the melody. But I guess it's the genre. What I do like is your sense of something musical. Just wanted this to go further. I haven't been to a dance club in years so, what do I know. Well I know I do enjoy your style!
from the opening drop..keyboard lines...then the vocal sample...rises...snares...big thumping tune Chris...hope all is well..your "2" in H2O doing well?...is this a sampler/preview? Good one, regardless all the best, :)
That beat got me movin' right off, definitely a dance tune. I like these keys, a lot, and those airy vocals. Works for me :) I was reading your comment on Rich's track, and imagining hearin' him sing a number like this...
Chris Rice born in 1974 has always been a huge fan of electronic music, from the electro 80s which in its later stages brought us House music from the late and great Frankie Knuckles which lead into the 90s, a decade that gave us old skool, drum and bass, happy hard-core and in its later years the best of trance music.
Living in the 21st Century one thing is clear, Dance Music or Club Music whatever your name for it is has never died and in recent years has begun a huge revival! With easy access to tools that can help anyone produce music we have seen an explosion in artists of the electronic genre producing some great sounds and tunes.
I have spent many hours producing music, not for anything more than the pleasure it gives me to create it. Under the alias of H2O i focused on reviving some of those 90s styles and big hooks.
I’ve now rebranded under a new alias, R.C.Y. Well for one H2O has been well used by other artists and second Ricey was always my nickname (among others lol), I also wanted to change, even as I approach what is considered a significant stage of life I feel the need to create music that is for the now and not the yesterday.. Although with influences from the yesterday... I don’t consider that to be a bad thing, you cannot ignore the essence of dance or club music.
So join me as i step up a notch and take on the DJs and amazing artists of today and produce what I hope you will feel is worth listening to....
H2O is no more... R.C.Y has landed!!!Will be kicking off with a new mix of Escape To The Moon, like you have never heard before! 26.04.04New artist webpage is also under production and will be launched soon. In the mean time feel free to drop by on my facebook page..
