Cheers all for the great comments.. producing music is not only a stress receiver but a labour of love.. and this site makes it all worth while.. not just for the nice comments, but the fact i get to share it, however I wish there were more constructive ones like there use to be lol..! From the electronic musicians on here i use to get a good kick in... it helped me loads!,... This site could be so much more than what it is... deserves to be.. there are so many budding musicians out there that need a site like this!! Anyway love you all!..
Fine job on the BIG production. Lots of dramatic energy that really moves. I'm a fan of EDM and this is right up there with the best imo.
I like the energy and beat in this. The production is great. Good dance tune.
Like your new icon :)...Big Room Bounce EDM? Is this a technical term within your genre? Big sound reagrdless...builds with those rise and vocals give a l;ittle lift to the tune...a little vocal to frame a thought: "Don't stop..." "Mo-fo-watch this "...sliced and diced and served with a lot of hot spices...drops...nice bass and synths here too! Nice Chris!
Sounds fun! Not exactly my "cup of tea" but I can sense the appeal of workin' things up to a crescendo like this, and yeah, it'd be great on a dance floor wouldn't it? I like those vocals, ya don't use 'em much but ya don't need to, this tune ain't about that. For not being my cup of tea it's just gotten it's fourth listen, you're doin' something right :)
Love those ascending notes, really winding it up up up and adding to the energy. Mix and production sounding great to my ears and although no expert in this or any other genre, I know what I like...Good track....L
Certainly has tons of energy ...in abundance. "Big room bounce"...never heard of this one...is it something new? That pounding bass is just great...my sub-woofer picks it up and thuds along nicely....like lotsa bass I do. k
Chris Rice born in 1974 has always been a huge fan of electronic music, from the electro 80s which in its later stages brought us House music from the late and great Frankie Knuckles which lead into the 90s, a decade that gave us old skool, drum and bass, happy hard-core and in its later years the best of trance music.
Living in the 21st Century one thing is clear, Dance Music or Club Music whatever your name for it is has never died and in recent years has begun a huge revival! With easy access to tools that can help anyone produce music we have seen an explosion in artists of the electronic genre producing some great sounds and tunes.
I have spent many hours producing music, not for anything more than the pleasure it gives me to create it. Under the alias of H2O i focused on reviving some of those 90s styles and big hooks.
I’ve now rebranded under a new alias, R.C.Y. Well for one H2O has been well used by other artists and second Ricey was always my nickname (among others lol), I also wanted to change, even as I approach what is considered a significant stage of life I feel the need to create music that is for the now and not the yesterday.. Although with influences from the yesterday... I don’t consider that to be a bad thing, you cannot ignore the essence of dance or club music.
So join me as i step up a notch and take on the DJs and amazing artists of today and produce what I hope you will feel is worth listening to....
H2O is no more... R.C.Y has landed!!!Will be kicking off with a new mix of Escape To The Moon, like you have never heard before! 26.04.04New artist webpage is also under production and will be launched soon. In the mean time feel free to drop by on my facebook page..
