Before coming out with her first nationally released single, Memphis-based singer, Cathryn Banks Jackson worked as a vocalist, voice over talent, and Account Coordinator for a Pharmacy Benefits Manager. Cathryn is the youngest of six siblings, born to their parents whose love of God helped her stay grounded and focused. As a child, Cathryn recalls singing in the church choir most Sundays and usually, with a mic in her hands. "It was something that I loved to do, that I felt compelled to do," she says. "I always knew that using my voice was the Lord’s will for my life.” Cathryn has done voice over commercials as well as background vocals. In addition, she has ministered in song at both, the General and the District  Conferences. Cathryn has also hosted a radio broadcast, founded by she and her husband, geared toward young people. She’s happily married to Youth Pastor, singer, songwriter, musician & producer, Barry (B. Jackson) Jackson and together they have five children. She currently serves as a youth leader and assistant to her husband at church and in their non-profit organization, Positive Note Music and Intervention Youth Program. Barry Jackson has proven instrumental in Cathryn’s success; from co-writing and producing, to shooting her first video for the hit worship single, “You Are God”. Together, they continue to build and win souls for the Most High God. Cathryn’s unique vocal style will be recognized anytime its heard.
