Running Scared
Hi Andy, Also haven't been around for a while, so I have a lot to catch up on...Good to hear that you still have the same number of ideas in a single track that most could squeeze an album out of! Hard to crit as I wouldn't even know where to begin constructing something like this. Particularly liked the quieter section from 2:44 and the build at the finish. Congrats on the number 1 track too I see.
Good to 'hear' you back Andy. Top work as always. A master of movie score..
I knew it was going to be a good track Andy from other tunes...but this is something else. EPIC !! Film soundtrack at its best, nice piano melody coming thru now mate.My word it must 30 tracks or more. The production is emmese..so thanks for the upload and cheers for the download :) Kudos
Man this so, so good Andy. I can just see the whole movie scene unfold as the track moves along. The music alone tells the story. What a beautiful piece Andy. Enjoyed every second of it. You should be very proud of what you have created here. Class. Take care
WOW! This is awesome! EPIC soundtrack mate and would fit in any action film. Beautifully composed and the production values are amazing. You say you have not posted for a while.. well the wait was more than worth it. You are truly original and this is one huge epic vote!
It may have been a while for you to post , but hey ! Well worth the wait Andy , you have Got Scene Spot on , the Title fits the image fits and the Music All fits nicely together , as Deon Said No body does this Genre Like you , this would fit into a Great Action Movie or a Action Game without a Doubt , Production Great Loads of Emotions running through this Epic Piece .... Great Stuff Andy ...:) Big Epic Thumbs Up ! Degs
Oh yes, you've captured the Running Scared feeling totally, even the Not knowing the outcome, did they get away or not? Come on Andy, you can tell me the ending. Great cinema, enjoyed and rated. Gibbo
A fabulous "epic" soundtrack on display..the drums steal it for me...punctuating the strings and brass with energetic rhythms...yeah a choir now and then lifts the mood and heightens the suspense...lush strings with brass stabs (or the reverse brass sustains with short-bowed strings ) does that too...sounds like Taiko (Japanese drumming in those quick rolls)...gong too...the reverb on this mix is super...big and expansive mix..fantastic, Andy! Thumbs!
nobody does this genre better than you Andy, you really have a gift to capture musically a visual feel - that's quite something. As well as composing some beautifully sweet melodies/ Fabulous
The perfect backing track for the movie scene you are describing! You have an impressive collection of sound libraries and you know, how to handle them. I could not tell the difference from a real Symphony Orchestra! - / Peo
Just like it says on the tin (what's tin?). Damn Americans.....;-). Wonderful track that forms the visual perfect in my mind. It actually reminds me of the events just after the night I came home smashed with the smell of perfume on me and my wife was waiting for me outside the door...
Full of tension from the first note. Liking the smooth brass/horns motif over the string attacks early on. Big percussion adds to the edginess and you can't go wrong with a sprinkling of choral voices to add to the suspense. Nice dynamics with the quiet little interludes...then back into it. Quality production as ever Mr F. Very nice.
To my ear, this is perfect accompaniment to the scenario you describe. Your choice of tempo is just right for someone who is RUNNING SCARED. Also, I am impressed by your sequencing in this project. I know very well how difficult it is to create a satisfactory orchestral sequence with all the endless parameters that have to be set just right in order to make it believable. You, sir, have made it believable! Thanks for posting this fine work.
Hi! I have been interested in music since an early age and now enjoy making tracks with the various software available.Such as Edirol, EWQLSO and my new addition, Miroslav Philharmonik which has some strings to die for, all this sequenced in Fruity Loops. I now seem to concentrate on composing Classical Soundtrack material. I also enjoy rearranging tracks in collaboration with the awesome talent on show here. Please stop by anytime and enjoy! The Chambers album has been accepted in the Music Dept of the National Library of Israel and hopefully will be added to the holocaust museum there.

I really enjoyed the melody. Loved the flute.... more than the bass :)
If I had my music software working, I could put my finger on it, but overall, just loved it!
Seeing as how I have been completely laid up for the past two doing doing nothing but honking into a handkerchief and spluttering like a man drowning (Ed: just a seasonal cold, tut tut poor reviewer), it seems appropriate that I should come riding back into the fray on orchestral wings. On second thought, after that sentence, maybe I should just go back to bed. Andrew Foyston (to give
Valour and Honour – Andy F- Essence Review Well, what can I say? It’s a huge track and no one can deny! Huge sounds, very dramatic indeed! I’ll try to skip the obvious comment of “this should be in a film” because it is obviously your intention Andy, to make your tunes fire the imagination and conjure up all kinds of themes and scenes to which your tracks could be impl
This an immensely dramtic and emotional piece of music. It's actually difficult to think where to start. The beginning is probably the best place. The haunting melody at the beginning truly sums up the emotion I can only imagine would be felt by prisoners being taken to the gas chambers. The bells add a nice touch, hinting to everyone that death is close. You can almost smell the mud and
Andy wondered if i was up for classical pieces when he submitted this for review! Good news is, yes I am! I have always loved orchestration, as does everyone if you really think about it. Whes used to it's full scope, 'classical' music fully captures and envokes all the feelings and meaning that modern music strives to recreate in different ways. Andy's 'The Last Galleon' does just that, the sus
T'was brass monkey weather time, three years ago, I reviewed a track called Di Da Mix (October 2003) and although liking its content (a little), disliking its production (even littler) and thoroughly berated the composer to get serious about his sound. AndyF (yep, you guessed it) obviously did because as many of you know, he's been in here plugging away ever since and btw, he did get s
Currently number one in MP3 Unsigned's Official chart, DHGC is a collaboration from two artists I have come to know very well, one for a very long time and one I've met within the last year. I first met AndyF a million years ago on another site when I reviewed his first track Di Da Mix (October 2003) and liked it. That hasn't always been the case, not because Andy isn't a good musician
Call me a sycophant if you like, I just don't care. I am bowled over by the undoubted talents of Andy F, and his latest track, Tears, is no exception. Building his orchestration around the superb vocals of Amy Caldwell, the loving care and attention given to this crisp and professional work is evident from the outset. It's always easy to eulogise over great songs and, naturally, personal taste c

ONE NOTE FIRST - “Although I am not totally into classical music, this song certainly has made me become interested in it. Fantastic score, fantastic instruments, fantastic feel to the song – HIGHLY RECOMMENDED” Review – Starting off smooth, the piano work done at the beginning is great, although could have been uplifted a bit to hear it a bit better, but with all the other instrument work
