Artist Comments
I wrote this in 1972 but it's never been heard by a living soul apart from me, before now. It's very personal. In the summer of 1969 I met a girl and we fell in love. She was from a very poor family and my friends and family told me she wasn't right, but we took no notice. In 1972 I got a stupid dose of religion and it broke us up. By the time I came to my senses a few months later, she was already happy with someone else. I started giving her a lift to work but I never dared spoil her happiness by telling her how I felt about her.  Tony Miller consists of water, various unsavoury dangly bits of skin and some bizarre chemicals and electrical impulses which cause him to react in strange and unpredictable ways. He is not currently, nor ever has been.
