MAXFIELD was formed in 2005 after singer/songwriter and co-producer Valerie Maxfield began her dream to going it alone. Go to yourbeats.co.uk/valeriem to know more about Valerie. While constantly touring, she wrote all her ideas and on her journey made contact with Joules Chown, Keyboardist/Producer/Engineer, whose worked for artistes signed to Sony/Emi, as well as being in his own band, drummer Clive Jenner of Groove Armada fame/Freestylers and Roots Manovre along with Marky Mark bass and rythym guitarist whose worked with most of the top ten french artistes and had the honour of playing with Ray Charles in the latter years, colloborated and MAXFIELD was formed. MAXFIELD's brand of music is a musical journey of eclectic magic. So many infleunces to mention, but let's just say AnthemicRock/Tripsoul/Skeletal Psychedelic Funk UNIQUE. 'It's been a long time coming' Valerie says, 'With so much emotion, dissapointments and joy all embroiled into one. All we can hope that our story gets told.' To hear more check out first single 'Stucklike" coming off the forthcoming album 'So Is What', out later this year on WWW.MYSPACE.COM/MAXFIELDVALERIE or check out more about MAXFIELD on their official website WW.CLASHUK.COM/COMETOMAXFIELD.
