She began singing and performing with two dance music producers, Sarkis N. and DJ Divine, which led to the development of her first R & B album released in 2000. Kara, along with her 2 producers, wrote the entire project and released it themselves on their own label, KDS Records. The project, Seasons, has enjoyed strong support locally and in the UK, earning positive reviews, radio airplay here and in London, and generating modest sales. Kara continues to write and perform as she further explores the boundaries of funk, jazz, soul, and R and B.
