This melody rained down on me like the hot shower itself one morning in early 2004. The lyics then followed as I was missing my wife. My good friend Johnny Roerbach sings for me on this track as my voice was a little tired and I needed to get a copy to another friend in Nashville who is trying to help me promote my songwriting. Johnny sounded so good, I decided to keep his vocals on the song for the Simon Says Album. I hope you enjoy- Another World. In early 2004 the writing bug took off and a plethora of songs emerged. With the persuarsion of family and friends I set out to record these songs. A friend and longtime musician Tom Wilson of Macon introduced me to the humble yet multi talented Johnny Rorhbeck whose engineering at Greenlight Productions recording studio took my songs and made them a reality. Thank you Johnny...You Rock! As an added bonus, James Denny stopped in to add the unreal lead guitar on "The One" and he has promised to come back for the hard driving Simon Says and Money Man tracks later in September. So hold on. We have some more Souther Rock, Pop and Hard Rock on the Way! Tony Hicks is originally from Worcester, Massachusetts. He graduated from Mississippi State University in 1989 and has made Macon, Geogia his home since graduation. Macon, Geogia is the home of legendary musicians Otis Redding, Little Richard, the Allman Brothers and so many more.
