Lisa Banton, who was born and raised in Toronto, has been said to have a soulful voice. She has been singing since she was very young under the influence of her father who is a well known singer in the Gospel community of Toronto. At the age of 23, she is really just starting to get recognition. Performing at small venues around the city, Lisa is slowly making a name for herself, not only as a singer but as a song writer as well. With a smooth RnB voice most often compared to Mary J Blige, Lisa captures and holds the attention of all who hear her. Her goal is to share her gift with all who want to hear what she has to offer to the RnB scene in Toronto and who knows, maybe the world.
