Pastor A.L. Gourdine is a South Florida native. Her musical and religious pedigree both stem from her parents. Her mother, Lila Mae Baldwin Gilbert, was a prophetess and a singer. Her father, Jimmy Lee Gilbert, is a deacon and a guitarist.
Add the anointing of Pastor Shirley Caesar with the vocals of Prophetess Wanita Bynum and the youthful yet serious praise of CeCe Winans, and you get Pastor A.L. Gourdine.
