Dave Bernardi is a DJ, remixer, and producer of energetic club style House, Trance and Techno; he was active in club promotions from an early age around the Edinburgh club scene.
He currently runs his own nightclub ‘Futuro’ with another producer. in Edinburgh, playing out a collection of House and Trance along with local up and coming DJ’s, as well as guest appearances from DJSA Records label boss DJ Steve Anderson. He started out in production in September 2004, through hard work and dedication he is trying to establish himself in the underground dance scene using his past and present influences and his own originality.
In May this year he hooked up with long time friend and experienced guitarist Neil Young’ to work on new projects using a collection of his own material and ideas and Neil Young’s versatility, skill and creativity in acoustic, bass and electric guitar. There first production ‘Circles of Life’ EP was signed non-exclusive by an independent digital label Total Wipes Productions (Italy) in July 2005, and by August 2005 it was officially released worldwide to help promote there name in the U.S and E.U market. Since then Dave Bernardi and Neil Young have successfully completed a remix project for Hari Seldon one of the labels producers called ‘Damrak’, and in return Total Wipes Productions are currently working on the official release ‘Circles of Life’ The Remixes Vol 1.
After a busy six months Dave Bernardi and Neil Young were approached by well respected DJ and label boss Steve Anderson ‘DJSA Records’ an up and coming UK Dance label. After negotiations they signed a non-exclusive deal with DJSA Records and there first official release ‘Idiosyncratic’ is a feature on ‘A Trip to Saturn’ a compilation engineered and mixed in the studio by Steve Anderson, In 2006 they will be starting there second project for DJSA Records, as well as a remix of Steve Anderson’s forthcoming release ‘Estimated Time of Arrival’’

Under there other guise ‘Futuro Disko’ Dave Bernardi and Neil Young have successfully finished there second EP ‘Robotic Rage’ a blend of fast tempo club style House and Techno, featured on the EP are ‘Phenomenon’, ‘My Beat Your Show’ and ‘Robotic Rage’ in Mid-October it was officially released by Total Wipes Production.
After the success of their second EP being released Futuro Disko have completed another remix project ‘Shake My Head’. This time an official exclusive pre-release for ‘Ploonk’ one of Total Wipes Productions very own exclusive producers. Futuro Disko are currently working on there next EP ‘Submerged’ which will be completed in December this year.
Futuro Disko have now signed another deal with Chromium Records an energetic UK Independent label. They will extensively be promoting Futuro Disko to help them gain success in the underground and mainstream market. As well as featuring there first two releases for the label on the UK Official Download Charts.
In the summer of 2006 Futuro Disko will be playing at ‘The Other Festival’ an event which will showcase some of the best unsigned UK talent, they will also be doing a mini tour through there home city of Edinburgh to promote there name and new releases in association with Chromium Records.
In January 2006 Futuro Disko were offered another remix deal by Total Wipes to remix ‘Posse’ by Gone for their partnership label Disturbance Records, as part of a compilation CD, after the success of the first remix Total Wipes have requested a second remix version of ‘Posse’ for a techno compilation release.
Dave Bernardi of Futuro Disko will be doing his first live appearance on radio in February on the SAturn show, with Steve Anderson on Fresh Air FM, doing a guest mix and talking about current projects and Futuro nightclub.
