Bad Day (Clean Version) (HipHop) |
 |
 |
Track Comments V Dogg has had a really bad day altogether, and he is in a REALLY bad mood. If you tempt him, he will inflict harm on you. Consider this song a friendly warning. This is the clean version, which means cursewords are replaced with more gentle words. Credit for the beat goes to Nelson Ortiz of MP3Unsigned.com.

V Dogg was born on May 30, 1983, in New York City, the borough of Queens. At only two years of age, he moved to the borough of Manhattan, where he stayed for four more years before moving to where he currently resides - in Alabama. V Dogg became V Dogg when he was called "The Lion" in the first grade by his teacher and his classmates. At first his name was Vicious Dogg, but several days later he changed it to its current form because he thought it would sound better. At age twelve, after listening to many rappers, he wanted to take a shot at rap himself. So he went into a room alone after doing some homework and began writing his very first rap, entitled the "Forest Bumble Bee Rap". Although it was terrible compared to what he does now, he entered the song into his seventh grade talent show. A friend of his played drums while he got on the microphone and done his thing. It was his very first performance on stage. He came up just shy behind another act, but won second place and a $50 prize. Before and after that talent show, V Dogg's classmates and even a few of his teachers all wanted to hear more. No one would ever soon forget it, as it continued years later into high school. V Dogg knew he wasn't stopping after all of that. So he gathered up a few of his friends and they all made a personal album together. V Dogg and friends rapped over instrumentals from well known artists as well as beats V Dogg made in MTV Music Generator for Playstation. With these, V Dogg and friends made over 150 songs together, with a few solo songs from V Dogg himself. For Christmas Day 2000, V Dogg received a great musical instrument: a keyboard/drum machine hybrid. This is the same instrument that V Dogg uses to this day to lay down the beats that go behind his vocals. With this keyboard/drum machine hybrid, V Dogg has a vastly limited range of what he can do, but he still manages to whip up something good. V Dogg used this instrument to make some simple beats that he and friends rapped on. This continued for years until 2003, where V Dogg received advice from a female friend of his. She told him that it was time to stop rapping for fun and turn his talent into what could be a very rewarding career. V Dogg agreed and had a talk with his friends, saying that he wanted to go solo and show the world what he was capable of. His friends agreed. And today, V Dogg eats, breathes, and sleeps hip hop, making music by day and working a normal job by night. His friends are there giving him tips, advice, and inspiration.
V Dogg, unlike many rappers today, is a realist in hip hop. He doesn't classify himself in a certain genre of rap. His birthplace is the East Coast and his current residence is the Dirty South, but he does not restrict himself to those two genres. You may hear something like those from him, but you may also hear West Coast and Midwest flavor from him as well. V Dogg has also "invented" his own genre of hip hop, which he likes to call "Com-A-Rap", which is comedy and rap tied together. His beats always match the type of song he aims for, but his lyrics are what truly make the difference. V Dogg raps about his ups and downs in his life, as well as the ups and downs of life itself. V Dogg indeed has a story to tell, but instead of writing a book about it, he uses hip hop to share his life with his listeners. And while V Dogg tries to cope with his life surroundings, he puts all his faith and trust in God.
Currently, V Dogg is releasing some of his old songs for promotional purposes, but his debut album, tentatively titled "Life, Paybacks, and Money" will be coming in the far future.
Look out hip hop fans - V Dogg is here and with a purpose!
