Breakaway was formed back in 2003 with a simple songwriting trip to West Cork, Ireland. Spending a productive week in recording they emerged 5 tracks stronger and continued to work on their style and presence by playing cover versions up and down the West Cork circuit. 2 years later and they are stronger than ever. After making a few key changes to their line-up, Breakaway, now consists of Anita Radley on lead vocals, Tom O'Regan on lead/rhythm guitar & backing vocals, Joe Cusak on the Bass and Richard Vaughan on Drums.
Presently, they are working on new material for their debut album, tipped as, 'Falling from Trees'. With a mix of energy and melodics, Breakaway are well on their way to finding their way!
