"Summer" is my first recording to be released on MP3 unsigned. It's a great sounding instrumental guitar track with exciting highs and melodic lows. Summer was recorded and engineered on my home computer over a period of around 3 weeks. Much of this time was spent mixing and re-mixing the track. I could have gone on forever and it still not be perfect but I wanted it to be heard as soon as I could. I have a number of new and older projects I would like to make available in the near future after i tweak polish them up a little so stay tuned. You're probably wondering who John Scotland is and "Where did he come from?" I was born in Dunfermline, Scotland in '78, and haven't strayed too far since then. I first picked up a guitar when I was 11 and have been enjoying experimenting with music ever since.I'm currently teaching music in my home town Dunfermline and also Web Development. I listen to, play, and teach a wide range of music including Classical, Jazz, Rock and Blues. My long term goal is to keep writing and recording new and different material and making it available to the public. If you like this track or any others I'd be delighted to hear from you! - John
