Stranded (Rock)

Artist Comments
We recorded this song at a small independent studio in San Diego. It has received limited airplay in California by a few radio stations. We'd love to hear your opinion of it. Lyrics/melody: Nomi Music (drums excluded): Brian Derfer, Matt Mollure

Never satisfied with repeating a formula and drawing from a diverse range of influences, Mad Habit is driven to create music that expresses something distinctive and vivid in every song. -> Latin labels in the bathroom mirror -> Tell the story here -> Of how she is tricked -> Slowly slipped prescription life -> Sedated, dilated, her memories fade -> Fade away.... [from the Mad Habit song "Morphine"] Before uniting in San Diego, CA members of Mad Habit played studio sessions with various artists, performed at the Playboy Jazz Festival, and shared the stage with such bands as No Doubt and The Beat Farmers. -> The weight of all the things unsaid -> Falls on feeble shoulders -> Whithered bands of stone -> Worn to cover the holes of this imperfect world -> As I move towards the open door [from the Mad Habit song "Dissonance"] The band is set to release their debut EP in April, 2004, and is currently playing shows around Southern and Central California.
