Donnell has grown up in the streets of Boston. Through the typical day to day urban issues (which are really atypical); has found a niche as a family man, civil engineer, community leader, etc.
Working hard has always been a consistent theme, which he attributes to being raised by his grandparents. His main stompin’ ground was Mattapan, but his early days (before age 13), he was a Dorchester die hard. Ever since he can remember, hip-hop has always been. Through many distractions Donnell somehow found the time to obtain a college degree. Rhymin’ has always been a passion, as he recalls. As a teenager Donnell performed at high school talent shows and the Strand Theatre. He also recorded at various studios around Boston, but never truly pursued a career in music.

Expressing himself and his thoughts through rhyming (which he’s been doing as a hobby since age 11), Donnell’s vibe is self empowerment to handle adversity. This Album, along with other ventures, he feels is one way of giving back to his hip-hop community. This totally independent venture is to show up and coming artist there’s more than one way to pursue your dreams. Also, Donnell wants the current hip-hop culture to really know where this lifestyle comes from.
