Track Comments Sane and Dying Heart were recorded with my ex-band in like a day, but I like them--hope you do too.

We all know we write our own bios, so I’ll skip the professional sounding but I think slightly creepy third person thing, and first just thank you for checking me out and listening to my music ;) My main goal here is to get the right manager or producer or hairstylist whose great uncles best friend can take my singing/songwriting to the next level, but I’m also open to collaborating with another musician in the New Yorkish area. My experience is varied and I won’t go back too far, but includes most recently performing in an off-Broadway show, a band, and recording with a DJ (the last two endeavors producing the three songs on this site). The type of music I want to create, would like many of the influences listed below, have a special feel and sound like you can picture them in a movie soundtrack (a lot of them actually were). Something timeless and extremely well made.

As far as my other interests, I fancy myself a renaissance man, or less fancy, someone with a bit of artistic ADD. I’m a member of the Screen Actors Guild for giving many memorable performances that could be seen if you pause certain movies and television shows and look very carefully, and would love to do commercials--hopefully for nothing too embarrassing--and film. My Illustrations can be seen at www.voodoochilli.net/artists/JayMax, and I have a children’s story out right now in Wee Ones Magazine. Yes, the layers of shameless self promotion are getting pretty thick, but written down like this is the only way I can do it since I’m quite modest in person...really...I am.
All your comments, ratings, downloads and unsolicited gifts are welcomed, and thanks again for stopping by!
