My main Band is Australian Blues Band called "CHAIN", who I have been playing drums with for 36 years. This Band is still Touring and Recording. Things get better with age.
My Second band I play drums with is called "HARPOON", who are very hip to playing Blues and Rock-Fusion Styles.
My other band that I play drums with is called "BROTHER GOOSE" which was formed with Barry ( big goose ) Sullivan and myself, Barry ( lil goose ) HARVEY. We had been playing together on and off for over 40 years. Unfortuneately for all concerned Barry ( big goose ) SULLIVAN passed away on the 27th, October, 2003.
A very Sad and Enormous loss to Australian Original Music. But we managed to get one CD recorded just before he left to go to Bass Player's Heaven.
I play Double bass in a jazz trio called the
Doug_Barry_Bruce_Trio and that is very adventurous jazz improvisation.
The 'Rick & the Goose Duo" is great and I play Double Bass, Bass Drum with my Right Foot and Hi-Hat Cymbals with my left foot ( all at once of course) This makes the duo sound like a whole band.
The Singer and Guitar player in the Duo is Rick Veneer.

All the band's have a CD out at the moment, all mainly self financed and all of the guys in the Bands would love to tour the USA & Europe and Japan.
Each of the players in each band is a real first class item at their instruments. |
