I've never had any guitar lessons. In third grade I started piano lessons, but never really did to well cuz I've always been a person to play by ear. So I spent 9 years faking my way through lessons not reading music. Finally, I got to quit. I didn't touch music again until one day I found my dad's old guitar in the closet, and I wanted to play it. So we got new strings & I just picked it up from there. I had a friend or two show me some basic chords, then just went on.
I currently have 11 'albums' out. 5 actual albums (meaning a substantial collection of songs, at least 9), 5 b-side collections, and one EP. You can e-mail me if you have any questions about them, or want a copy. I consider my albums my diary...each song is a part of me and who I am, so from my first album "Just Real" to my latest b-sides "Songs In The Wake," you can see how I've changed and grown. I started out very right wing & conservative, and I've gone toward the left now, hehe, seeing as I've accepted myself as gay...but in ways I'm still very conservative.
