This is a remix my friend, Steve Mayes did. This actually sounds better than the original with the cool echos and repeats. Enjoy!

I just started writing my own music last year (2003). Music has always been my favourite. My parents love music as well and that's basically how I got into music I believe: influenced by my parents. I never imagine I could write my own music.. it shocked me a little but here I am, typing this crazy biography and having my music uploaded. I hope to grow in music and will still aim for going to uni.
I am Laura. I taught myself how to play the guitar 5/6 years ago. I took piano lessons ever since I was 4 and let go of it at the age of 13. I find nothing interesting in playing the piano. I don't spend most of the time creating something new, instead I'm playing pieces of music. I find it dull. I started picking up the guitar and strumming it. My dad had 2. After picking up the guitar, I find it very easy to play although the fingers hurt. I started playing songs at first and find that I learn new things everytime I do that. Now that I come to think of it, piano's exactly the same.. you play somebody's pieces and after you know better, you make your own. Well, guess piano isn't for me. So, here I am.. typing this crazy biography/introduction. I started writing last year (2003). I couldn't believe myself when I finish up with a full stop. I created a song. Since then, I've been expressing myself through songs and it's amazing. Music will always be my hobby, my love. I hope to grow in the years to come, in singing, playing and writing.

I listened to different varieties of music ranging from dance to contemporary christian. I listen to a lot of Michelle Branch particularly. I think her talent of playing the guitar.. and coming out as a young artist doing that when nobody else is doing, is amazing. Plus, it's hard to find artist who writes, plays and sing their own songs. Michelle's one of them!
