I started writing music in 7th grade, when I was in 8th grade I completed a musical piece on the piano. since then I have written over 15 original piano melodies, none of which I have integrated into my music to date. This is about to change. I have the tools, and the knowledge now to take my music to the next level. My Next CD worth of material is titled Keys to Creativity. There is a track on this site called "Key to Creativity II" be sure to take a listen to this track, as it will give you a better Idea as to where my music is heading.
Another track worth mentioning, "Are You Sober?" which is only named as such because when you have finished listening to it, you may wonder if you are in fact sober. The only advisory, don't listen to it drunk, stoned, or otherwise under the influence. You may lose your lunch.

These Tracks mark a pivotal moment in my Creative career. Changing not only how I create my music, but what I use in terms of raw materials to do so. "Are You Sober?" does in fact use royalty free samples, but good luck on finding a CD of the Original Samples. (It does exist, just not somewhere you'd expect to look.)
Are you Sober marks the end of my relying on companies like Sonic Foundry to come up with riffs and melodies that sound good to me. And I have taken off in an entirely new direction. Everything I create as of September 2004 on, will all be samples that I have created. no longer do I need to concern myself with royalty free loops, verifying the source of files, verifying the authenticity of the information I have before using a sample. There is one exception to this rule, I will still participate in Loop Mix Contests. Sorry guys/gals, you need the competition =D.
"Key to Creativity II" is the second track made entirely without royalty free samples. The first one I may or may not post here, am undecided. I am my own worst critic =). There will be more to Follow. For an example of my older works see my Artist URL, http://sidmatrix.iuma.com
This site is pretty much abandoned, I have not updated it in over two years. I am still searching for other places to put my music online. And when I find a better place I will update my link. |
