I gravitate more towards acoustic pop music, and blues/jazz occasionally. My main musical influences are Matchbox 20, Vertical Horizon, Creed and the occasional itinerant musician I meet on the streets. Started composing songs at the age of 9, when I wrote a mother's day song sang in front of a dinner crowd. Picked up the acoustic guitar when I was 14 to compose more music. Started recording our first demo in a band in 1993, and recently recorded another demo.
Song lyrics are highly important to me, and each song should be telling a story, or expressing an emotion. Composers like John Mayer, Sting and Rob Thomas are among my favourites.
