Nisa C has been passionate about music from a very early age, and started learning the violin at the age of 3 and piano at the age of 5. Having studied at the Royal College of Music, she completed her Grade 8 in both instruments. Nisa C is also an enthusiastic singer and songwriter with a portfolio consisting of over 20 original songs, and a further 10 which she has co-written. Having had a wide exposure to a multitude of musical influences, her work takes a refreshingly unique approach to music making, combining and fusing elements from both classical and popular genres. She hopes this will narrow the gap between these two contrasted yet complementary worlds.
Her musical interests encompass a diverse spectrum of styles, from pop, rock, R&B;, through to classical, jazz and world music. Since Nisa C’s parents are from Thailand, she has been fortunate to have the opportunity to learn to play a selection of traditional Thai instruments, which has also fuelled her inspiration to experiment musically.
Nisa C is keen to progress her career as a solo artist and would love to be able to perform and share her music with others. She regularly performs at a variety of events which continues to invigorate and enhance her motivation to succeed.
