Neil Mackie is lead vocalist and guitarist with successful Scottish rock band The Shine. As a side project, Neil writes and records material which is less likely to fit in with The Shine's genre but is more where his heart lies.
The featured tracks are from Neil's first "solo" album "It Can't Rain All The Time" which was recorded in collaboration with good friend and The Shine drummer Iain Wilson at Craigmont Studios, Glasgow during 2007
