Where’s he been all this time? That’s the question people seem to be posing about Ramin Streets. The Eccentric Singer-Songwriter hailing from Chicago discovered his love for music at the tender age of 6, sitting at his father’s side while picking out melodies to works from Rachmaninoff to Gershwin.
But then he heard the music of Elvis, & Buddy Holly. This followed with the wondrous works of the 60s rock era; the unique tune-smith like qualities of select artists from both the UK and America. Suddenly the piano was not enough. The guitar followed with the need to sing and compose songs akin to what was being played over radio at the time. And then there was always the dream. The dream of playing before big audiences, hearing the songs aired on radio. That dream still exists today and though professional success has yet to touch this traditional “old schooler” the songs continue to come, each one that much better than the last. Ramin continues to present great songs for those who feel empty in respect to the direction popular music has taken over the past ten years.
