Performing since the age of 10, with lead roles in musical theatre productions such as Amahl, in the opera Amahl and the Night Visitors, Tiny Tim in a Christmas Carol & Colin Craven in the Secret Garden, his classical training is evident. His early beginnings in the theatre led him to television where he landed commercials for Ovaltine, K-Mart, Radio Shack and Raid, among many others.
A few years ago, his love for the audience launched his pursuit of a singing career. His voice, strong, smooth and melodious transcends all music genres. He has received outstanding reviews from R&B;, Pop, and even Rock magazines. Justin Phillip has been called the next Justin Timberlake by many in the music industry. Lou Pearlman and Johnny Wright have praised Justin for his incredible talent. He has been featured on the Rick Sanchez Show and Tampa Bays Hip Hop 411 TV. He won Radio Disney’s Star of the Future competition, Miami Herald’s Music Video competition, and Tampa’s 95.7 the Beat vocal competition, where he competed against all adult singers. Justin’s performances are high energy, action packed stage shows, with lots of dancing and audience participation.
Justin’s generous nature has led him to perform for many charities, including the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, LEAH, Children’s Miracle Network and the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Justin recently finished filming a movie pilot for renowned Hollywood producer, Johnathan Krane, titled “Dancing on the Edge”, in which he was cast in a leading role.
His music has created a huge following in Europe, especially Germany and the United Kingdom. Radio Stations all over Europe and the U.S. are now beginning to hear the buzz about this up and coming star and are requesting his music. Justin’s fans span the globe. He has received fan mail from as far away as Hong Kong.
He’s learned from the best, working with young hot producers, including Roy Hamilton, who has produced major recording artists such as Brittney Spears, R.
