Jamaican College Fund (Country)

Artist Comments
This a little song I wrote about the five gallon water bottle I keep by my bed. For several years now I have been calling it my Jamiacan College Fund. I am hoping to take a vacation someday. Anyway each night before I go to bed that is where I throw my spare change.

I am a muscian/songwriter/singer. I have been playing for about thirty years. Most of the music Ido is country. I do enjoy rock, blues, and jazz. Like I always tell everyone I play Waylon to Van Halen. Right now I'm currently not playing steady with any one band. I do a lot of what I call hired gun work. Mainly guitar, but I also play several other instruments as well. If it has strings on it I play it. I currently don't have a steel, but I am working on it. I write a lot of music. Generally on my songs I do all the instrumentation and vocals. I enjoy doing collaborations with folks. So if anyone needs an instrument, vocals or help with lyrics. Feel free to contact me. Marshall Williams Lists the following Influences
I have been influenced by a lot of different musicians over the years. My earliest influences where folks like the Beatles. Later there were the Willie & Waylon days. Which when I hit high school turned into 80's rock. Long hair and guitars I was there. After high school I came back to country George Strait, Restless Heart, Steve Wariner, and I couldn't get enough country. I have been that way ever since. Now there was the Stevie Ray Vaughn era. I almost forgot about that.
