Hailing from Motown, this sultry Rock-N-Soul vixen is prepared to explode on the music scene brining a fresh sound unique to only Steffanie Christi’ an.
Fusing the musical influence of such greats as Billy Holiday, Janis Joplin, Prince, Bob Marley and Tori Amos, Christi’an will change the landscape of today’s music industry by perfection, Rock-N-Soul!
Though a freshman to her industry, her talents have been noticed by such greats as: Eminem,Proof and Swift of D12, Erykah Badu, producer Emanuel Kiriakou, as well as both Amp ,Thomas Fiddler, and Peter Keys of Parliament Funkadelic.
To validate Christi’ans’ talent, she has been signed to Famous Music Publishing by Stephen Finfer based on her song writing ability and her capability to perform a wide range of musical styles including: Blues, Alternative, Reggae, Soul, and Traditional African Music.
Christi’an has gained experience in the studio by working with such industry notables as producer/guitarist Emanuel Kiriakou, producer/multi-instrumentalist Chuck Alkazian (Pearl Sound) background vocals for Joey McIntyre (formerly of New Kids On the Block) ,lead vocals on the compilation album Figments("Anyway that you want me" featuring such greats as Donald Duck Dunn, Al Kooper, and Jimmy Vivino) by Anton Fig (drummer for the David Letterman house band), and has performed on the # 1 selling mix tape "Luthasim" by DJ Exclusive, hosted by members of D12.
Steffanie is currently touring with local Detroit Band Jocaine & 75 North as a background vocalist/percussionist. The group has a very large fan base, and has been labled"The Next Big Thing" by local publications .The act Jocaine has sold over 5,500 units independently and tours with such acts as Uncle Kracker , Tantric, and country legend David Allen Coe. Steffanie can be heard on JoCaine tracks featuring such greats as The Silver Bullet Bands own Alto Reed(Underpriviledge Baby), and Detroits own Uncle Kracker(Neck Of The Woods).
