'Elizabeth' was written after I visited Tanilba Bay House in NSW and was inspired by the story of "Elizabeth" the Governess who in the 1800's loved her Captain who did not come home. Her ghost still appears at the house which has been preserved as a historical memory and current cafe and tourist venue.
