Ive been producing for nearly two years now, i use reason 3 and cubase sx 3, i use reason as my main source of creativity like creating beats etc and then importing into cubase for the arranging and mastering. im still at the early stages and have yet to use proper hardware but am looking into investing in some serious gear soon! i feel your limited to what you can do using just virtual synths and a pc...im currently studying creative music & sound tech at leeds uni and am looking to do something in the area of producing for a carrer, i mainly work as a soloist but have worked with others aswel..
