I shall be singing in the bath on Thursday 18th August.

If anyone would like to attend, I'm afraid that the only answer I can give you is 'sorry you can't'.

Bathtime is a very personal thing, and I can't really allow hordes of people to come stomping into my bathroom (which is actually quite small).

Do you have to make reservations?  If so, I would like to make reservations for the best seat int the house.....the "Throne"  It's better than the balcony seats.   Front row and center....Row 1, Column 1  Cool!!!!!!

I hear some places these days don't allow people to bring in cameras....is this the case?

(I wonder if anyone will notice that I am sneaking in some alcohol)

I have no 'thrown' sadly Mary. It was discarded long ago.

But really...let's be serious here. I just can't make one exception for you, and ban everyone else from attending  now can I.

Imagine the scanario?....several dozen members of the MP3Unsigned Community would be sat at home, alone and bored...feeling really left out and lonely, knowing that Mary had been given access to this event, but they were missing out. It would breed resentment and feelings of exclusivity.

And once you were in the bathroom (which is really rather small) I would be forced to put in a large amount of 'Matey' Foam bath to cover my embarassment with bubbles. And you would also be very critical about the accoustics in the bathroom (which is actually rather small), making my voice sound rather dull and dry. Also the last note on the second verse is sure to be flat. I know how careful you are about these things.

We could always tear down a wall or two.  Then we can all have good seats. No throne?  Then how does one do their ,,,,,,thing?

Did you know that the bathroom is a great place to sing even if it's small.  Most stars originate creative musical pieces from that room.  The acoustics are excellent.  The idea of music bouncing from wall to wall is especially in rooms such as those is hard to obtain unless you know a bit about the technical ends adding reverb i.e. in the final mix.

Foam,,,,cool....Hollywood style I think is what they call that.  Classy Ffabs!

If you refer back to Stephen Todd's page,,,he does have a rubber ducky which is an indication that he might have used the same room. He does have some excellent tracks posted I might say.

I love how the acoustics in that room bring out the background chorus effect.

Yes,,,I do agree, making that room larger would be a benefit for all to see and hear you perform.   What type of instruments will you be playing with?

I wouldnt' want any resentment or feelings of exclusivity,,,oh no, never as you know the MP3Unsigned Community has always been like a family to me and has attracted many viewers from around the world based on it's excellent reputation.

Is there a preview or MP3's that you can share with us Ffabbia....?

"What type of instruments will you be playing with?"

Mostly the organ Mary.

'My Favourite Bathtime Gurgles" is yet to be mastered for CD, however I shall be releasing this rough gem upon the Community as soon as it is complete (current estimation is around 2023).

And yes, some good old Matey foam bath (which really is a bottle O fun, when yer sticks it in the barth, and always good for a larf) does  add a certain touch.

"How about a live feed Ffabs?"

To be frank Jez, I prefer my meals dead, and preferably cooked. However as it's confined to the bathroom (which is actually quite small) I'll see if I can dredge up some goldfish for Mary and any other persons who wish to partake of this sport. (I know Mary is a keen enthusiast - see General Forum post 14th April 2005).

No!!!! good heavens man, what do you take us for???

Once a month??????

There's no way we could afford to be that extravagant.

People in Yorkshire use tin baths, filled with cold water from an exterior tap next to the outside toilet. We then place it in front of the coal fire until it's warm enough to bath in.

Obviously the pigeons go in first, they always have priority..followed by the whippets, ferret, my wife, and finally myself. After that the water can be used for washing clothes and dishes.
