Not really new, but new to this site. I wrote this last year around my birthday. I was feeling down about getting older and the time I've wasted, so it was sort of a cathartic release for me. Hopefully I'll get some new stuff polished and available soon.

Link is broken and I can't seem to fix it Paradise Decay was kind enough to post it for me two posts down.

thanks for listening,
eric

Great song, once again eric!  Great beat on it, real steppy. More good vocals.  Commenting and rating.

Ah, I couldn't get the link to work, try this one:

http://www.mp3unsigned.com/showmp3.asp?mp3ID=9272&aid=34 52

I like it, subtle yet very addictive. Geat stuff, your music is just brilliant for calming the mind!

Kinda reminds me of 'Art of Noise' remember them?

Listening to this track, now and so far 3 seconds in it sounds very splentlyful..

i will comment and rate at home my friend, as my girlfriend doesnt have some tasty passive tannoys

I will be able to see all the production faults and things.................although there might not be any!?!

But ill be spying closely!

From what i have heard on these speakers, sounds really really nice

thanks Lank!  Hehe i haven't forgotten what i told ya. ;)  Just things are taking longer then i thought.  Real life has been getting the way alot, and some songs are taking longer then i expected to finish.  But part of my new years is that i decided to scale back the scope a bit and use some songs that are familiar, just going to try to fix what i feel is still amiss in the mixes.  I'm still planing to put some new material on there as well, just not as much.  It's just my first cd and i'm winging it and i think i was being a bit to ambitious. Hopefully it will be worth the wait.  Thanks again for asking, its a nice reminder.

Doh!! i donno what happened with the link but thanks for the help.  Can't seem to find a way to edit the post.  Art of noise yes i do remeber them, though i'm not familiar with thier entire body of work i do know some. I think they were the first band i ever heard using vocalish sounds in a rhythmic context, something i've been doing alot of lately. Could you recommend a cd of thiers? It's been awhile and i really could use a refresher.

thanks,
eric

Edit (figured out how to edit :) )

Some of it is just jibberish but this is what the vocals are saying if anyones interested.

how long.. I grow up
making something me-self
go away
making something me-self
I grow up
how long
go away
I grow up
please let me start again..
please let me start again..
but i grow up

lyrics are pretty odd but i picked them more for the way they sounded then for their lyrical content.  Words like me-self come to mind. Hehe. Though I think that the broken speak and the jibberish sorta added to playful nature of the track.  I wanted something innocent but with just a touch of the dark. Like someone reflecting on thier youth with some regret. Well at least that was what i was trying for.

I love all your stuff, this one especially great.  #1 fan.  You are a great talent and music of yours is very defining, very JSR, if you will.  CheerS!
