Hey to all.

I was thinking about what to do for New Years Eve, you know party time, then I got thinking, "Hey wouldnt it be great to host a big party were a massive group of mp3unsigned artists all meet for a party, big room/hotel etc, play our music, party all day/night", then I got thinking even more. It's far too much notice for New Years Eve, but what about sometime in the summer of 2005, we could even use a park possibly.... big dance party. Do u get my train of thought.???  I could quite easily organise this, i've done something similar before.

My first thoughts were maybe somewhere in Europe,  Germany, Amsterdam, Munich, UK, I don't know, i can fly anywhere, its up to the concensus really, and any feedback would be appreciated. I think it would be an ideal opportunity, too big to miss.

Remember, you only live once. I like to live life to the max, and i personally want to meet all my friends i've got to know from mp3unsigned.com

I know there's certain people I would like to meet. Amsterdam, Stew (THE BOSS), Spyda (yeah, ive never met him, even though weve worked together), Raquela, Paradise Decay Graham, A second sky, Apex, RAKK, CH Project, Seven moons, Kodu, The Odd dodo.... everyone i love musically basically... sorry if i didnt mention u, but your deff on my list i want to invite. You know who you are.

If anyone is interested in this, I'm in UK so bear that in mind. contact me or leave me a message here.

Email: [email protected] and please give me your name and artist. or post here.

I'm dying to get the feedback on this. I'm quite excited about it.

I've put some brainstorming notes on the web at:

I'm glad someone else has had the idea. However, I think to be realistic, we could do a USA one, and a European one, with someone co-ordinating USA. I'd do Europe.

Nice idea dsential.

Im quite suprised that no one is organising regular Friday and Saturday night gigs at a nice cosy London pub venue using mp3 unsigned acts. Christ knows you could put three bands on each night and not run out of good stuff come Xmas next!

I used to put on bands in my local pub circa 1990, sadly I only invited bands I liked so sometimes seven people turned up... still, great fun and a brilliant way to meet people (and entertain them).

been talking about doing something like that in the summer, Paradise Decay came up with the idea first.

Would have to be a UK thing tho, but not to say the USA gang couldn't arrange something themselves.

Lets have a think about it after Christmas

Great, will set up a sort of info file up on the web with some details/brainstorm.

I was also thinking maybe we could get some sponsorship from breweries, and get interest from record companies, management companies, A & R guys.

I cant think of anything cooler than to finally meet all these wonderful folks from mp3unsigned.com!!! My UK colleagues have been ULTRA supportive of my work, even more so than a lot of people here in America, and it would be a tremendous RUSH to get to come to Europe and hang out, perform, or whatever!

I WOULD carpool with DJ Smiegle of Ohio (right next to Kentucky), but unfortunately its been reported that the ROAD is underwater...but with enough notice, airfare is SUPER affordable!

Please dont let this fall by the wayside....anything Beta or Kung Drew Music can do to help, please let us know!

I like the idea.....of a big party....where music is played from varying artist. but even if we had a party that lasted 24hours we still coudnt play all the music on this site...so i imagine there needs to be a team that selects the best 10 songs from each of the genres and then at the party those songs are in rotation. and just another thought...at the party we could have like 10 live performances at different times throughout the event...i guess the management would have to fairly select 10 performances that would get the crowd interested. this would be a good opportunity to showcase talent. maybe someone would be spotted by a record label. this could be big. btw, regardless of how easy or tempting it is...it doesnt have to be in london..lol...towns like manchester, leeds or even edinburgh are wonderful venues for a gig like this.

jus my thoughts
