A little softer this time around, but again featuring Mike Round (mykyndryd) on lead guitar.  Thanks Mike!  Lots of experimenting with the mix and mastering on this one, so all compliments appreciated!!   Oh yeah, constructive crit too...

Ahhh - what a song eh ?

Rated and nom'd - I think that's the 5th one I've played on and each one very different. Good songwriting, performing and production David. Timing's perfect.

Best thing I've heard this week easy, don't know how many people on board know of Tom Waits stuff but the lead guitar on this is prime Tom Waits nectar, utterly gorgeous and the lyrics and brilliant as well, my new favourite of yours by a mile :)

Vin, Fred, thanks for stopping by guys, I've really enjoyed the collabs I've heard outta you two recently.  Any more on the way?  I'll keep my eyes open for 'em!

Mike, you got me reaching for a dictionary, "artictic"?  That's a good one!  Just realized it's been six months now since our first song together "Half past Eight", where did the time go?  Working with you's been a real blast, buddy, and this piece has been the icing on the cake.

Allan, I was so close to sending this your way, as someone else mentioned this song is quite similar to "Sight, Touch and Taste" a tune you simply worked wonders with.   Thanks for the kind words, I'll have to check Tom Waits out, been a few years since I've heard his stuff.  I do hear he's got a bird problem himself!

Thanks for the crackin' new title, Dawn!  The vocals must be getting better, have you noticed no one's asked to see the lyric yet?  You wouldn't of course, you've got a copy!  This piece did turn out almost sinfully pretty, hope it attracts a few more chicks besides you and that bird trying to take over my intro!

Glad you stopped by, Gete, hell, this stuff is older than old school I'm glad to see it appreciated by fellas like you, Allan and Paul who are busy blazin' new trails.  That trance bit I heard of yours yesterday is pretty cool!

Hiya Paul!  Your right, my sound has changed a lot over the last seven months since you first heard one of my tracks, glad to see it's changing in the right direction!  Having an opportunity to play with talent like Dawn, Mike, and Allan has been inspiring, as well as a lot of fun.  Gotta credit Andy (James Oakwood) for helping me break through some production barriers a few months ago.  So thanks for stopping in with the kind words, Paul, nice to hear those from someone who knows just how mediocre my music was when I arrived here earlier this year.

Gete, I meant to thank you for taking note of the percussion, Cap'n Casio still has a few surprises up his sleeve!  Not bad for a twentyfive year old piece of plastic, eh?

And thank you, Stew!  Honored to have my mug on the advent calendar!  Happy Holidays to you and the rest of the gang here, you're a great bunch!
