Here's the deal;  Round up all those misbehavin' little rugrats and sit them in front of the computer.  Click the link below, scroll down a tad to show 'em the picture, and tell them if they don't straighten up I'm comin' to get them!

Lyrics by Dawn Sinclair, thanks Dawn!  Drums by good friend and neighbor Randy Perryman.

Thanks for giving this a spin, Ricky!  First time I've had comments posted before I got the note up.  Heavily influenced by the Rolling Stones, you got that right.  As far as the choice of guitar tones and drum arrangement, what can I say, this is just the way we do it, we've been kicking this tune around a few years now.  Dawn's lyrics certainly gave it some added punch, thanks for the comp on the vocals - the gal is inspiring!

Hey dude long time no-hear/talk. Tried to put comments up but something's wrong somewhere and the comment box is just blank. Will try later. Hey I've heard this riffage before on a previous track what was it?

Careful what you ask for, Ricky, I am a troll, "biting" is what I do!   Thrilled to have you as my first responder, and as you can tell from the pic, I'm relatively toothless.  Actually, that was taken a few years ago, totally toothless now - ain't dentures great?

Thanks for stopping in, Vin, I had a feeling you might appreciate this kind of rock and roll!

Dawn, this seems to be going over well in spite of the smell.  I'm beginning to think you can't write a "bad" song!  You may have noticed I held to your exact words, with a little practice I found the groove and they work fine just as you wrote them.  Pulling the wah guitar back in the mix just a tad really made them stand out, which made me think what an excellent children's song this turned out to be.  Thanks loads, sweetie, I'll never be quite the musician some of your collaborants are, but you'll never find one as grateful.  You're a gem, and it's a pleasure playing with your words.

Andy F., your comments and criticism are always appreciated.  A man would have to be an idiot not to give careful consideration anything an composer of your caliber had to say.  As I mentioned in response to Rick, we've been working this up over the last few years, Randy and I, and we like the cymbal crashes, though I'll admit learning to record his drums has been a real challenge for me, and I'm not there yet.  Personally, as this has evolved into a "children's" tune with the recent addition of Dawn's lyrics, I think the crashes are highly appropriate and most little kids will love'em!  Thanks for stopping by.

Andy (James), I was hoping you'd give this a spin, and not surprised at all your recall the riffage as you and I tore this apart track by track six or so months ago when I first met you.  We made great progress at the time, but I was still not grasping something essential about the mixing/mastering process when I posted this then with different lyric, "Green Monkey" was what I called it then.  I've been wanting to redo this bit ever since, and Dawn rose to the challenge of providing new verbage for it.  Actually, I was hoping for something serious out of her, and look what I got!  My disappointment was short-lived, as her words had me cracking up before I finished reading them the first time, and when I saw the reaction others had to them with this music I knew she had got this right.  Luckily, I had saved the work you and I had done with this earlier, and found where I was going wrong with it.  The fix seemed simple now that I've spent the last six months getting to know my gear better!  I still owe you steak and eggs, man, come collect anytime.  Thanks for giving this a spin, and if you approve of how I handled the production this time I'd be happy to give you credit on the song description for your role in this, but wouldn't dream of it otherwise.  Got a brother who totally butchers "Smoke On the Water" everytime he spots a guitar laying about at a party, and announces to one and all I'm the one who taught him how to play it, much to my chagrin!

To one and all; I've several days off work this week, and will have ample time to visit each of your pages soon - you've been forewarned!

Hello Allan and Mike!  Thanks for giving this a spin, fellas!  While I've had a lot of fun piecing together "studio" tracks with you guys, it's nice to have a chance to showcase what Randy and I's end of the street sounds like here in Tulsa.  Glad you stopped in!
