Hi all ..  hope you've all enjoyed the non wet bits of summer.   I'm just gearing up for my return to work tomorrow in my new job.  Haven't got a clue what I'm s'posed to be doin but that's half the challenge I guess.
 
Sorry I haven't been around as much as I would have liked to have been due to a continual barrage of events, incidents and issues (Mmmm! Sounds like a good working title for something).
 
 
Hope you are all in in fine form and hitting the musical paydirt.

Naa .. I decided at b4 christmas last year that I didn't want to follow that route. 
 
I wanted something where an understanding of the educational system would be useful and some aspects employed but had a more interventionist approach.
 
 
Fortunately Luton Borough Council had started recruiting for their 2nd traunch of Family Worker position so I get to stay in the primary school area, which I enjoy.
 
I will be based in a particular school, and will be dealing with a large range of child and family orientated issues from the learning aspect to some of the more challenging personal stuff.
 
I have to admit I haven't got a clue about where to begin other than turning up tomorrow to see what gets thrown at me. 
 
 
Looking forward to it loads ..  I'll keep you posted on the progress.
