I am putting together a website for my department over here, and i was contemplating a message board...  How does one go about it, just the short answer, just a thought at this moment..
is it a very difficult thing???

it depends which scripting language you are using, or that your hosting company use, if you know that, there are loads of free ones , which are normally dead easy to install
