Hello everyone! Most of you know me for my quality jazz music on this site.

I'm in the process of doing something which I don't think has been done on the internet yet and wanted to be the first one to do it. I want to have a world wide jam session with artists like yourself and then post the track on the internet as it grows with each part. I've already started it on other sites and want you to be involved as well. Every one gets full credit and acknowledgement on their part and a link to your music site if possible. The track is and always will be a free download for whomever wants it so no monetary gain is involved.

Basically I just want to have one hell of a jam session with anyone wishing to be involved. Here's how it goes. Leave me a message either on this forum or message me that you're interested and I will send you a link of the track for you to jam to. The jam track is 28 bars and the tempo is 126bpm, there are 6 chords total. Jam as short as you want or are able to. It doesn't matter what genre you're in everyone is welcome to join in. It's a jam! It's not a big production number so keep that in mind! All you have to do is be able to record your own part and send me a dry part only with you playing so I can place your part on the track. Make sure that you record it at the same tempo so that it will sync in properly with the background when I fit it in. It's that simple. If you are one that needs the chords structure or a chart for it, no problem!

I already have a couple of great solo's on it by Neil Numminen who does a fretless bass solo and Mike Millilo who really did a fabulous job on the tenor sax for being just a hobbyist.
