I just remixed one of my most requested songs on my new fantom X6.

I believe the addition of the ac guitar makes all the difference in the world on this song.  Feel free to review this one and compare to the music on the video for my song "In These Times".

Does this song fit more into the Contemporary Christian, soul, or R&B classification.  I know its not typical of either genre.  I'm just interested to see what genre most would put this song in.  I know that most of my projects cross genres.

I think it is a cross-over like you mentioned.  It could be placed in any of the genres you mentioned because it does have each genre.  Different people will place it in the catgegory they think it goes in.  It could be placed in Soul, many Soul songs are Christian, maybe all of the original songs of soul were Christian-based.  I'm not sure.
