i have been trying out the 60 day free trial of avast security.

 it is quite amusing . everytime it updates itself a voice tells you so .

 today i was downloading programme whilst i was in the other room  when i heard this siren going off and a loud male voice saying

 warning warning virus detected....siren.....warning.....etc.

  as it was all totally unexpected i was nearly ready to tape up my windows  fearing a chemical attack .

  it keeps on going until you deal with the problem.

   and as it happens it was a trojan

Its clearly doing its job but you're going to be deaf in five years.

Nortons little red box popping up scares the sh*te out of me. Sometimes I think it makes them up to make itself look good.

 i found avg security like that. it seems to find trojans etc that

 no other security systems ever find.

  i could scan my pc now with the latest norton or mcaffee and find my pc free and clean .

   then run the demo scan of avg and lo and behold up pop all these

   little trojans and worms that supposedly the other ones missed.

    i even got my mate to try it out too

     and guess what

     it found the same little make believe trojans and worms.

     i think these companys are dealing with insecurity

      if they can create it , we will buy the product
